1. Mexico City
Stop
About the destination: Mexico City is a vibrant and cosmopolitan metropolis located on a plateau in the central highlands at an elevation of 2,286 meters. It is the capital of Mexico and the most populous city in North America. Spanish administrative buildings and private residences in the city center have replaced the temples of ancient Mexico, resulting in a blend of old and new architectural styles. The Metropolitan Cathedral, the country's largest, is located at the Plaza de la Constitución in the Historic Downtown. Its construction took 250 years, with the lower section being quite simple and the upper section featuring Baroque and Neo-Classical designs. It houses many altars, with the main one made of solid gold. The Torre Latino America, an earthquake-resistant tower built in 1958, has an elevator that leads to a viewing platform offering panoramic views of the Palacio de Bellas Artes, with its orange and yellow dome, and the Juárez Monument. A trip to Mexico City wouldn't be complete without experiencing Mariachi music. Visit Plaza Garibaldi in the evening to enjoy it. The ancient ruins of Teotihuacan, a former hub of trade, art, and ritual ceremonies, are located 50 kilometers from Mexico City. Its Sun Pyramid is one of the greatest architectural feats of ancient times and is considered one of humanity's most important cultural centers. The city's intriguing history is evident in its art and architecture, which combine age-old charm, indigenous roots, and elegant buildings. For a wealth of surprises, sights, and history, Mexico City is certainly worth a visit.

Stay
About the destination: Barcelona is a coastal city in northeastern Spain. It's the capital and biggest city of the autonomous region of Catalonia, and the second most populated municipality in Spain. The city has a population of 1.6 million within its limits, but its urban area, which extends to many neighboring municipalities within the Province of Barcelona, is home to approximately 4.8 million people. This makes it the fifth most populated urban area in the European Union, following Paris, the Ruhr area, Madrid, and Milan. Barcelona is one of the largest metropolises on the Mediterranean Sea, situated on the coast between the mouths of the Llobregat and Besòs rivers. It's bordered to the west by the Serra de Collserola mountain range, the highest peak of which is 512 meters (1,680 feet) tall.

3. Montpellier
Stay
About the destination: Montpellier is one of southern France’s most vibrant cities, blending medieval charm with youthful energy. Stroll through the historic Écusson district, a maze of narrow lanes, sunlit squares, and elegant mansions. At its heart lies Place de la Comédie, a grand square framed by 19th‑century architecture, lively cafés, and street performers. From here, most of the city’s highlights are within walking distance or a quick tram ride away. Art and culture lovers will find plenty to explore. The Fabre Museum is one of France’s most important fine arts museums outside Paris, housing works from the Renaissance to contemporary art. Nearby, the MO.CO. contemporary art center showcases bold and innovative exhibitions in striking modern spaces. Don’t miss the graceful 18th‑century Promenade du Peyrou, with its royal statue, aqueduct, and sweeping views over the city and towards the Cévennes mountains. Montpellier also offers a distinctly Mediterranean lifestyle. Terraces spill onto the streets, perfect for sampling local wines from the Languedoc region, fresh seafood, and southern French favorites like tapenade and tielle, a savory seafood pie. The city’s large student population keeps the nightlife diverse and affordable, from cozy wine bars in the old town to music venues and clubs around the Antigone and Port Marianne districts. Finally, Montpellier is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding region. Golden beaches such as Palavas-les-Flots and Carnon are less than 30 minutes away by tram and bus. Inland, you can visit medieval villages, vineyards, and natural sites like the Hérault Gorges. Whether you come for a city break or a longer stay, Montpellier offers a relaxed, sunny gateway to the best of southern France.

4. Nice
Stay
About the destination: Nice endures its annual influx of tourists each summer, offering all the typical features of a Riviera town: relaxed wealth, a generous beach, museums, and flower-lined avenues, but without the pretentious detachment of its neighboring towns. Moreover, Nice boasts excellent public transportation within the city and to all destinations along the Côte d’Azur, making it an ideal base for exploring the Riviera. The city's long, narrow beach and sunbathing guests are the main attractions for most visitors. However, Nice's old town, or vieille ville, is also worth exploring. This historic district is a unique mix of glamour and a Mediterranean medieval quarter with narrow streets and open-air markets. For a breathtaking Riviera view, climb to the top of the castle. The city also houses several exceptional museums, such as the Musée Matisse, which showcases the work of French painter Henri Matisse, and the Musée National Marc Chagall, dedicated to the work of painter Marc Chagall. The grand Promenade des Anglais stretches along the coast. This pedestrian area is teeming with boutiques, bustling restaurants, and tourists of all kinds. Nice's nightlife is vibrant, with the maze of narrow streets in the vieille ville concealing restaurants and bars, contributing to the city's Mediterranean charm.
